This blog was created to allow students of American Literature at Aquin Catholic High School in Freeport, Illinois, to write about American Culture as they see fit - whether that discussion is about books, games, movies, radio, websites, periodicals, or television shows.
THE RULES
1. Each student must post at least once every quarter.

4. Mr. Wykes is the sole arbiter of semantic interpretation with regards to rule 3.
5. Posts or comments which are in flagrant violation of rule 3 will result in their author losing blog privileges and/or class points.
Some say that WWIII now has begun. I say it began in 1979. The first thing that happened was radical Islam took over Iran, kicked out Shah and seized our embassy. The second problem occurred when Muslims fighting in Afghanistan started resistance against super power USSR. They defeated Russia and helped cause the break up of the USSR. Then September 11, 2001 happened. The things start to go downhill. The American entrance into the Middle East was stalled due to public resistance generated by failure in both Afghanistan and Iraq, Israel believed it must directly destabilize and/or control all Islamic fundamentalist states, or face certain destruction in the future.
Israel is in the process of controlling the balance of Palestine by simply killing or driving out all remaining Palestinians from their homeland. At the same time, it has begun war with Islam, Lebanon, and Syria. Since Syria and Iran have a mutual defense pact that also means Israel is at war with Iran. Iran has already pledged "support" for Syria and previously has called for Israel to be "wiped off the map."
When it comes to North Korea, they have nuclear missiles but no money, while Iran has lots of money but no nuclear missiles. They share a deep hatred of America. Do the math; it will soon be a terrible day to be an American.
For America it seems to be nothing but bad news. America wants to rule the world; indeed we believe we already do so. This is how the following countries stand: Iran wants Israel destroyed and the American puppet regimes removed from all Arab countries.Israel wants Iran broken apart and under its own control, along with every other Middle Eastern state.North Korea wants South Korea and the removal of American forces from Asia.China wants Taiwan, and long has wished to eliminate Japan and also would like to remove American forces from Asia.
Just like WWII, WWIII will have a Depression along with it. Just like WWII and Depression I, WWIII will be the only way to distract people from their economic troubles, cover the effects of Depression II and get economies going again. Just like WWII and Depression I, bankers will be the making a great living by loaning and selling to all sides and once again picking up small businesses, farms and houses for a fraction of their actual value.
The average American, who is dumbed down by a broken education system and distracted and lied to by a highly controlled media, is not aware of most of the ongoing situations that is very real in our world today. American Christians desperately want to believe the media and its lies about Arabs starting hostilities, with Israel for merely defense of itself.
Over the past couple months this topic has came up quite frequently between Fr. Bolger and myself when we discuss the usual topics. We have come to believe that there will be two possible scenarios when it comes to the near future and the next world war. First off it will be soon, possibly within the next 10-14 months. The first scenario is Iran will have its nuclear weapons built and will attack Israel. This would happen within the next 13 months. The second scenario is Israel uses their nuclear weapons to attack Iran before they finish their weapons. This will possibly happen within the next 10 months.
This is a very scary thing to think about. That is why many Americans don’t think about it, which is half the problem in the first place! If WWIII is to be avoided changes will have to be made, and made quickly. For anyone paying attention in religion class, Father explains it quite simply (my explanation was a little in-depth and possibly confusing, I apologize). Iran is in the development stage of building nuclear weapons, which is a bad thing when nuclear weapons are tied into everything I’ve discussed! If WWIII erupts I don’t know if the world will ever be the same because almost every large country has nuclear weapons at there disposal. Let’s just pray that we won’t be around when they are being used again.
